Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Position Details:As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and reliability through the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks. You will collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality into every stage of the software lifecycle.While manual testing experience is welcome, this role primarily focuses on automation, CI/CD integration, and test strategy implementation for both UI and API components.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium, Cucumber, or similar toolsCreate and execute automated test cases for UI and API testingIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Analyze automation results, report defects, and drive continuous improvement in product qualityDefine and implement QA best practices, processes, and test standards across projectsContribute to test planning, estimation, and documentation effortsSupport and mentor other QA team members in automation adoptionMandatory Qualifications:4+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years focused on automationHands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or equivalent automation toolsExperience in UI and API test automationKnowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub ActionsProficiency in Java, or JavaScript for writing test scriptsStrong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and testing life cyclesExcellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skillsFluent English communication skills (both written and verbal)Desired Qualifications:Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environmentsExperience testing in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST AssuredExperience contributing to or defining test automation strategies
