If you excel at identifying issues, take a structured approach to testing, and thrive in a collaborative Agile environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our applications provide seamless, high-quality experience to our users. You will work in close collaboration with developers, product owners and designers, applying your expertise in testing and problem-solving to deliver exceptional results. We’re looking for an experienced manual tester who has experience with Business Analysis or Requirement Analysis or other related fields to help us with self-service portal development.What are you going to do?Ensure delivery quality by validating requirements, aligning solutions with business and technical needsCollaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements, validate functionality, and identify gaps earlyPerform focused exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, usability issues, and unexpected behaviours; document reproducible steps and evidenceExecute manual testing to catch UI glitches and tricky edge cases across user flowsSupport test automation by contributing test cases and working with automation specialists to maintain automated suitesTroubleshoot with developers to reproduce and resolve defects quicklyProactively identify risks and suggest improvements to processes and product qualityBring a proactive mindset, identifying risks and improvement opportunities before they become problemsWhat do we expect from you?Must haveSeveral years of experience in quality engineering with hands on testing of APIs and GUIsStrong understanding of quality processes and testing methodologiesExperience with API testing tools such as Postman or InsomniaFamiliarity with JSON, XML, and API authentication mechanisms like OAuthBasic database knowledge and ability to write SQL queries for data investigationComfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating across functionsGood level of Latvian and English for a day to day communication with colleagues from different countriesExcellent communication skills and a self driven, can do attitudeExperience in collaborating with developers, product owners and designersNice to haveKnowledge of one or more programming languagesISTQB certificationHands-on knowledge and proficiency with test automation tools and frameworksKnowledge of insurance domainOur promise to youMonthly salary: €3300 – €4500 gross depending on your qualificationsStrong company culture: knowledge sharing, company events, interesting speakers, and other inspiring initiativesCareer and development opportunities (e.g. 3 dedicated up-skilling days) in the biggest insurance company in the NordicsChallenging and exciting projects with autonomy to plan own tasksExtra vacation days, annual bonus, great insurance benefits, discounts on our products for you and your family, gifts, etc.Possibility of hybrid work, where office is our primary workplaceA recently renovated office in Riga centre with a 24/7 gym on the premisesBusiness trips to Baltic and Nordic countriesRead more about benefits for our employeesApplication deadline: December 12, 2025The information you provide in your application and CV will be processed for recruitment purposes within If Group and shall not be used in other contexts or by other organizations.
