Senior Full Stack React / TypeScript Engineer - Healthcare Startup (Nashville)Client: Confidential (via Recruit22)Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid or Remote Flex)No Sponsorship providedAbout The RoleOur client building a platform that's changing how patients and healthcare providers connect.They need a full-stack developer who can move fluidly between frontend and backend, own featuresend-to-end, and ship things that matter. You won't be siloed into one layer of the stack — you'll buildthe API, wire up the database, and make the UI feel right, all in the same sprint.What You'll Do Build and own features across the entire stack — from database schema to polished UI — formobile and web applications Design and maintain APIs and backend services that are fast, reliable, and easy for the frontend towork with Obsess over performance: sub-second API responses, smooth 60fps mobile interactions,optimized queries, minimal bundle sizes Integrate with third-party services specific to healthcare — medical devices, wearables, and clinicaldata platforms Work with design and engineering to scope features, make tradeoffs, and ship quicklyWhat You Bring 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience Strong React and TypeScript skills — you can build a fast, polished UI and you know what "fast”actually means at the rendering level Solid backend chops with Node.js/TypeScript or Python — you can design a data model, build anAPI, and optimize it when it's too slow A performance-first mindset: you profile before you guess, you cache intentionally, and you treatevery unnecessary re-render or N+1 query as a bug Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, and CI/CD — you're comfortableowning what you deploy High ownership mentality — you don't wait for tickets, you find what needs building and go build itNice to Have Experience designing and managing cloud architecture at scale (load balancing, auto-scaling,multi-region deployments) Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) Familiarity with serverless architectures (Lambda, Cloud Functions) and when they're the right call Experience with cloud-native monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana) Cost-optimization experience — you've made infrastructure decisions with the bill in mind
