About the Role We are conducting a confidential search for a Senior Record to Report Transformation Consultant to support a global Record to Report (R2R) transformation initiative. This senior position partners directly with global stakeholders—including Finance Operations leadership, local Chief Accounting Officers, and multinational R2R teams—to drive process optimization, documentation, automation, and standardization across multiple countries.The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in Accounting & Reporting, strong expertise in SAP ERP (or equivalent), and a proven track record leading global process improvements within complex, multi-country finance environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the documentation of end-to-end accounting and reporting processes using SAP Signavio or similar process-mapping tools.Collaborate with local and global Chief Accounting Officers, Internal partners, and finance teams to capture processes and align best practices.Collect, validate, and publish global Record to Report KPIs, ensuring accuracy, investigating variances, and tracking action plans.Coordinate global R2R transformation initiatives, ensuring teams adopt improvements, automate steps, and execute remediation actions.Support the roll-out of global initiatives, monitor progress, address obstacles, and guide local teams in implementing solutions.Escalate issues identified across R2R processes and recommend corrective measures.Drive continuous improvement and standardization across diverse countries, platforms, and regulatory environments.Qualifications & Skills7+ years of experience in Accounting & Reporting; previous experience in a Big Four environment or global finance organization strongly preferred.High proficiency in English.Advanced project management capabilities and experience leading multi-country initiatives.Strong proficiency in SAP ERP or similar systems.Expertise in SAP Signavio, Visio, and other process documentation tools.Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Power BI.Strong understanding of technology, compliance, and finance-process transformation best practices.Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with proven success working across countries and complex organizational structures.Hands-on, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and global environments.CompetenciesAbility to manage complex global finance projects across multiple countries and platforms.Curiosity, proactiveness, and a “hands-on” approach.Strong stakeholder relationship management and cross-cultural communication.Ability to influence without authority and ensure adherence to global standards.ConfidentialityThis is a confidential search.
