About the RoleHaving a clear understanding and practical ability to apply Digitalization or statistical methods within the scope of Polymer Design for developing LLDPE. Co-develop R&D strategy, plan activities, allocate resources (including budget and manpower), and set targets as part of the advanced analytical science test service and R&D arms. This supports corporate, downstream, and upstream innovations, as well as GC business and its subsidiaries, ensuring successful execution.ResponsibilitiesTo design polymer molecular structures in accordance with desired LLDPE properties as well as to predict the properties of polymers from their designed molecular structures. Collaborate closely with Polymer Developers, Catalyst Developers, and the Polymerization Team to develop appropriate polymer designs that achieve desired application performance for LLDPE. QualificationsMaster’s or Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, chemical technology, petrochemical technology, polymer science, or a related field. Required SkillsExpertise in the relationship between polyolefin structure and performance especially in LLDPE.Required expertise in LLDPE design for leading applications.Over 5 years of relevant industrial experience.
