Job Title: Senior Resident EngineerLocation: DubaiCompany: Bin Abed ConsultancyPosition Type: Full-timeJob Overview:Bin Abed Consultancy is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer with extensive experience in managing luxury villa projects to oversee the construction and engineering processes at various project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the project from inception to completion, ensuring quality control, safety, and adherence to timelines. As a Senior Resident Engineer, you will lead a team of project engineers, collaborate with architects and contractors, and ensure that all project activities are carried out in accordance with technical specifications, standards, and budget.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the entire site construction process for luxury villa projects from A to Z.Supervise a team of project engineers, ensuring they adhere to quality standards and project schedules.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of the project.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.Monitor progress and resolve any on-site issues to minimize delays and maintain quality.Conduct regular site inspections and ensure the construction meets design standards and client expectations.Review and approve technical drawings, construction plans, and other project-related documents.Manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective solutions.Prepare and present progress reports, manage client communications, and address any concerns promptly.Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .At least 10 years of experience in site engineering, with a minimum of 5 years specifically working on luxury villa and high-end residential projects.Proven experience in managing and supervising construction teams on large-scale, complex residential projects.In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and local building codes.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.Proficient in project management software and tools.Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)Desirable Skills:Certification in Project Management (PMP, PMP-ACP) is a plus.Experience with luxury interiors and high-end finishing works.Ability to manage client expectations and provide solutions to challenges on-site.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
