That's where you come in.The Challenge to SolveAs a Senior Revenue Accountant at Slice, you'll support the end-to-end revenue accounting processes, from billing activity and cash applications through to monthly close, reconciliations, and reporting. This is a hands-on accounting role that blends detailed execution with opportunities to enhance how revenue and AR data flow through systems. You'll own key close activities, perform revenue analyses and reconciliations, and help ensure the accuracy and completeness of reported results. You will report directly to the Manager of Revenue Accounting.The ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end billing, invoicing, and cash application processes for Slice's physical goods ('Supplies') revenue streams.Support the monthly revenue close process, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and variance analysis.Work closely with teams across Operations, Finance, and Systems to ensure revenue activity is recorded accurately, issues are resolved promptly, and insights are shared across the business.Support internal and external reporting requirements, including GAAP revenue schedules, management reporting, and external audit requests.Assist in developing and documenting internal controls and accounting policies.Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, particularly as we migrate to NetSuite and scale our AR operations.The Winning Recipe We're looking for a skilled Revenue Accountant who takes pride in getting the details right, solving problems, and helping build processes that scale. You're comfortable working in evolving systems and enjoy connecting accounting data to the bigger business picture.These are the core competencies this role calls for:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance3-5 years of relevant experienceStrong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606)Hands-on experience with the order-to-cash cycle (O2C), including invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end closeAdvanced Excel skills (index, pivot tables, lookups, large datasets)Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skillsProven ability to reconcile system data to the general ledger and maintain subledger integrityNice-to-Haves:CPA or equivalent certificationExperience with NetSuite and/or SalesforceExperience with automation/analytics tools such as Alteryx Designer and/or SQLThe ExtrasWorking at Slice comes with a comprehensive set of benefits, but here are some of the unexpected highlights:Flexible PTOMarket leading medical, vision and dental insurance401K matching up to 4%Wellness reimbursement/stipendWeekly pizza stipend (Yes, that's a thing!)Salary Range: $75,000 - $120,000The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
