Senior Risk Manager

Arthur has partnered with a growing and dynamic Reinsurer based in Bermuda to appoint a Senior ERM Manager. This role will play a key part in shaping and embedding enterprise risk management across the business, with a particular focus on capital modelling, outwards reinsurance, exposure management, and model risk management.This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation in growth mode, where you’ll have the chance to help build a collaborative, forward-thinking, and value-adding risk function that directly supports strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth.Key Responsibilities:Lead and enhance the capital modelling framework to support business planning and regulatory requirements.Oversee the management of outwards reinsurance and exposure modelling, ensuring alignment with the company’s risk appetite.Support the development and monitoring of model risk management practices.Partner closely with underwriting, finance, and strategy teams to ensure risk insights inform key business decisions.Contribute to the wider ERM framework, promoting a proactive risk culture across the organisation.Ideal Candidate Profile:A qualified actuary (FIA, FSA, or equivalent) with significant experience in capital modelling, risk, or actuarial roles within (re)insurance.Strong understanding of strategic and underwriting planning processes.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical insights into actionable recommendations.Proactive, collaborative, and commercially minded, with the desire to influence and add value in a growing business.This role offers an outstanding opportunity to take ownership, drive innovation, and contribute meaningfully to the future direction of the company.Please reach out to as@arthur.co.uk to learn more.
