Job Title: Senior Sales ManagerAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to manage our Conference and Catering operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and social events while leading and developing the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:Set clear goals and performance objectives for the sales and events team. Manage effectively in a culturally diverse work environment. Apply strong problem-solving and decision-making methodologies. Demonstrate integrity, excellent time management, and visible leadership presence. Foster a positive and motivating work environment built on confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. Ensure the team completes all required tasks including client communication, releasing BEOs, reviewing floor plans, leading internal meetings, and managing follow-ups. Coach and develop team members to perform at their highest potential. Conference & Catering Operations Management:Coordinate with all event-related departments, clients, guests, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all property departments and their roles in event success. Communicate all conference and catering requirements clearly to operational departments. Understand the impact of banquet operations on event success and manage activities to maximize guest satisfaction. Meet with the Executive Chef prior to each event to confirm arrangements and ensure food quality and presentation standards. Meet with clients to plan and organize their events, showcasing facility features and available services. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and continuous growth. Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest relations. Engage with guests to gather feedback on service quality and overall experience. Handle guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Communicate event details and updates to all relevant departments and clients. Manage the quality process related to guest satisfaction and employee engagement. Empower team members to provide exceptional service. Ensure employees clearly understand service expectations and performance standards. Continuously strive to enhance service quality and operational excellence. Keep guest satisfaction as a key focus during all departmental meetings and encourage continuous improvement. Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in conference, catering, or event management. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. English (both written and spoken).Positive attitude, high energy, and a strong leadership presence.
