Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.As a Senior Sales Partner in Japan, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy that drives long-term advertiser growth and positions Netflix as a core partner with those advertisers.This is a highly strategic, client-facing role that requires exceptional relationship management, business acumen, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable growth strategies. You will engage directly with C-suite and senior decision makers at major advertisers and agencies, influencing how the country’s most iconic brands invest in premium streaming environments.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem in an established network of relationships, and a track record of delivering revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute strategies to expand advertiser investment and deliver sustainable revenue growth for Netflix Ads in Japan.Identify long-term growth opportunities across key industry verticals, converting pilot campaigns into year-long partnerships.Represent Netflix Ads as a thought leader in the Japan advertising industry—at industry events and in seminar with clients.Build trusted partnerships with C-level and senior marketing executives at both advertisers and agencies.Serve as a strategic advisor / consultant who can elevate conversations beyond media buying—shaping how advertisers connect with audiences through meaningful storytelling on Netflix.Partner closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders (Measurement, Marketing Partnerships, Revenue & Yield Analytics, Policy, Product etc) to deliver customized, outcome-based solutions.We're Looking For8+ years of advertising sales experienceFluency in Japanese and English is required for this rolePassion to develop innovative Netflix Ads that respect and enhance our content, brand, products, and fansProven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomesHighly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customersProblem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functionsProspecting and cold calling skills necessaryUnderstanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to multitask, make decisions and manage at entrepreneurial speedStrong, confident presentation skillsInterest in our corporate culture (read our memo here)If you have a passion for entertainment and a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovativeenvironment, we would love to hear from you.
