Senior SAP FICO Consultant

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP FICO Consultant to play a critical role in the modernization and support of a global SAP landscape. This is a high-impact opportunity where you will contribute to the transition, optimization, and ongoing development of SAP FIN (FICO) processes to achieve business excellence.This Senior SAP FICO Consultant role presents an opportunity to work in a global environment, optimize complex SAP systems, and drive innovation while maintaining critical business processes. ResponsibilitiesParticipate actively in intensive knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to absorb business processes, configurations, and custom code for the SAP FIN (FICO) streamConduct hands-on validation of knowledge in lower environments during the service transition phaseEnsure smooth transfer and update of all support documentation such as SOPs and runbooksResolve complex incidents and handle escalations related to SAP FIN (FICO)Perform shadowing and reverse shadowing activities to enable seamless service transitionSupport continuous improvement and innovation of SAP FIN (FICO) processes post-transition, aligning them with evolving business needsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure zero-downtime transition across finance-related processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, asset management, cash and bank accounting, and financial closingProvide expertise in supporting areas of financial planning, budgeting, consolidation, reporting, and controlling processes Requirements3+ years of working experience as an SAP FICO consultantExpertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and SAP Controlling (CO), including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts ReceivableKnowledge of Treasury Management, Tax, and Asset Accounting, with experience in Financial Closing and Consolidation processesProficiency in Financial Management and Accounting functions such as budgeting, planning, and reportingFamiliarity with creating, reviewing, and updating documentation for support activities, along with root cause analysisCapability to perform shadow and reverse shadowing during IT service transitions specific to SAP environmentsDemonstrated understanding of end-to-end SAP landscape transition processes combined with operational support skillsFlexibility to work remotely with occasional travel as required (1-2 times per year)English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication Nice to haveFamiliarity with SAP Retail environments and retail-specific financial processesKnowledge of specialized SAP-FI submodules like Bank Accounting and Asset AccountingShowcase of advanced finance-related document management within SAPCompetency in cross-functional areas such as Vendor Invoice Management and broader financial operations We offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
