Your tasksDesign: Build and optimize SAP PaPM models tailored to the financial services industry.Develop: Create calculation logic, data flows, allocation rules, and reporting structuresIntegrate: Connect PaPM models with SAP and non-SAP systems such as S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, FPSL, or third-party solutionsTranslate: Turn regulatory and business requirements into technical modelling solutions that work in practiceCollaborate: Work closely with business stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsGuide: Share your knowledge, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to best practices and reusable assetsEnsure: Safeguard data accuracy, model performance, and scalability through testing and continuous improvementSupport: Take part in workshops, go-live phases, hypercare, and ongoing optimizationYour Skills And ExperienceExperience: 4+ years of hands-on expertise in SAP PaPM modelling and development or similar SAP data modelling/ETL tools (e.g. BW/4HANA, BTP) Industry know-how: Solid track record in the financial services sector (banking or insurance), covering topics such as profitability analysis, funds transfer pricing, cost allocations, liquidity or operational transfer pricing Finance knowledge: Strong understanding of finance and risk processes in banking Technical skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and performance tuning within SAP PaPM; experience with integration to S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and non-SAP data sources Consulting skills: Strong in requirement gathering, solution design, and stakeholder management Communication: Clear in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audience Languages: Fluent English required; German is a plus Education: Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field Other: Military obligations fulfilled for male candidates; familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methods Nice to have Knowledge of SAP BTP or PaPM Cloud deployments ABAP skills SAP certifications (PaPM, FI/CO, HANA) Experience with IFRS 9/17 implementations Your personality Curious and solution-oriented: you don’t just accept complexity, you simplify it.
