You see the story behind every alert, and use it to make systems smarter, stronger, and more resilient.And right now, we need someone who can take that insight and put it to work protecting one of NSW’s key government agencies.What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be part of a high-performing cyber team that’s building the next chapter of security operations.Every day will look a little different, you’ll be deep in SIEM alerts one moment, helping to investigate incidents the next, and finding new ways to strengthen detection and response capabilities.You’ll triage, analyse and respond to events across networks, endpoints, and cloud platforms, spotting the patterns others miss and turning them into actionable insights.You’ll be working closely with managed service providers, technology teams and vendors, collaborating to make sure the agency stays ahead of emerging threats.And when incidents happen, you’ll be the calm in the chaos, investigating, resolving and helping to make sure the lessons learned make the whole system stronger.What You BringYou’ve been around the cyber block, 6+ years in Security Operations or technical security roles, and you know what it means to keep critical environments running safely.You know your way around SIEM and XDR tools and can dive deep into logs without losing the bigger picture. You’ve seen your share of incidents and know how to contain them, learn from them, and improve processes off the back of them.Cloud security, endpoint detection, and vulnerability management? You’ve got them covered.Compliance frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001 or CPS 234?
