JS Careers is partnering with a respected firm to hire a Service Desk Operator who thrives on solving problems, taking initiative, and getting things done.This role offers a 50/50 blend of day-to-day service desk support and involvement in key IT projects — ideal for someone who enjoys variety, learns fast, and leaves systems running better than they found them.What You’ll DoAs part of the End-User Services team, you’ll deliver responsive support while contributing to firm-wide improvement initiatives.You will:Provide Level 1–2 support across Windows, Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, printing, and peripherals.Resolve issues across core business applications and escalate effectively when required.Assist with IT projects — software upgrades, new system deployments, onboarding/offboarding, and process improvements.Maintain excellent ticket management and documentation standards.Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple offices.Participate in intermittent interstate travel to support project rollouts and user onboarding in other offices.What You’ll BringService desk or desktop support experience in a professional environment.Must have professionalservices experienceStrong communication skills, customer empathy, and a proactive “get-it-done” attitude.Practical experience with several of:Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), Windows 10/11, Azure AD, Intune, Active Directory/GPOCitrix / VPN, remote support tools (BeyondTrust, TeamViewer)Document Management: iManage Work or NetDocumentsPDF tools: Adobe Acrobat Pro, Kofax Power PDFPractice Management / Finance: Aderant Expert or Elite 3E (time, billing, WIP, statements)ITSM: ServiceNow or Jira Service ManagementEmail/security exposure (Mimecast, Defender, CrowdStrike) and print/scan (PaperCut)Curiosity and ownership — you communicate clearly, follow through, and improve what you touch.Why Join?Mix of support + project delivery — build real skills beyond BAU tickets.Modern Microsoft/Azure environment with enterprise-grade systems.Collaborative culture, multi-office exposure, and the chance to travel for key projects.Permanent role offering stability, growth, and meaningful impact within a respected national organisation.
