We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future.The Role:We are seeking a Senior Simulation Engineer with a strong background in game development or simulation and a passion for robotics and intelligent systems in manufacturing. In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-fidelity simulation environments that replicate complex industrial systems. Your work will be critical in validating robotic control algorithms, testing edge-case scenarios, and accelerating development across robotics, AI, and systems engineering teams.You’ll be responsible for creating realistic, physics-based assets, building dynamic and interactive simulation scenes, and implementing supporting tools and workflows. You will also play a key role in shaping our digital twin strategy, helping to bridge the gap between virtual and real-world manufacturing systems.What You Will Do:Create and manage realistic simulation scenes in Isaac SimDesign and implement physics assets that accurately represent robotic componentsDevelop diverse simulation scenarios for control algorithm testingImplement logic and behaviors to control scene dynamicsBuild supporting tools to streamline simulation development workflowsContribute to the development of digital twins and simulation-based validation systemsCollaborate with AI, robotics, and other engineering teams to support cross-functional needsWho You Are:An experienced engineer with a strong background in simulation or game developmentExperienced in working with engines such as Unity3D, Unreal Engine, Godot, or NVIDIA Omniverse for 5+ yearsSolid grasp of 3D mathematics, particularly linear algebra and kinematicsSkilled in core simulation concepts like collision detection, rigid body dynamics, and particle systemsA clean and pragmatic coder who writes maintainable, well-documented softwareA team player who thrives in collaborative, interdisciplinary environmentsAn effective communicator, able to translate technical details into clear and engaging narrativesDeeply passionate about robotics, automation, and the role of intelligent systems in modern industryNaturally curious, self-motivated, and constantly exploring new tools and approachesA proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and ownership from idea to executionA quick learner who can ramp up fast on new tools, workflows, and conceptsProficiency in PythonWorking knowledge of LinuxGood to have:A portfolio (videos, screenshots, or demos) showcasing past simulation or game development projectsFamiliarity with Isaac Sim or the NVIDIA Omniverse ecosystemUnderstanding of Behavior Trees or similar systems for scene logic and orchestrationExperience with industry-standard physics engines like NVIDIA PhysX, Bullet Physics, or HavokAbility to implement custom physics solutions, including constraints, joints, and soft-body dynamicsWhy Sunrise Robotics?Play a pivotal role in defining the future of intelligent robotics and manufacturing.
