Senior Site Engineer

Role:- Sr Site EngineerLocation:- Roscommon Salary / Package:- €65K - €70K (DOE) + package Reporting to the Project Manager, as Senior Site Engineer you will be an integral part of an on-site management team tasked with delivering a quality project, on budget, safely and on time.Main Responsibilities:Supporting the Site Manager with daily operations as requiredActing as the main technical adviser on site for specialist subcontractors, concrete contractor, steel work contractor, cladding contractorEnsuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications;Managing, monitoring and interpreting the construction design drawings supplied by the structural engineer, architect & MEP engineersLiaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;Setting out, levelling and surveying the site; QA, temporary works checks, temporary works co – ordinationChecking plans, drawings and setting out co – ordination;Overseeing quality control and the implementation of the company management of health & safety on site;Preparing reports as required for senior site manager & project manager;Pro – active approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise and associated reporting to senior site manager and project manager.Any other duties as required by management. Education / Experience:A Degree Civil Engineering or other relevant disciplineA current valid Safe Pass.A minimum of 2 years postgraduate experienceOperational knowledge of current Health & Safety regulationsExcellent communication and planning skillsAble to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivated with a drive to achieve resultsIT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCADFor more information on this job call Jason McGowan Construction Recruitment Director at 3D Personnel on 0861841361 or apply with cv.
