We are a Belgian engineering consulting firm that assists SMEs and large industrial organizations in bringing their innovation and R&D initiatives to life.💼 Job DescriptionThe Site Engineer OffshoreReports to the Construction managerWorks in a multidisciplinary teams together with, amongst others: welding inspectors, paint inspectors, safety inspectors, design engineers,…Supports the Construction manager in management of the site team, as well as interactions with the EPC contractorCoordinates & participates in inspections on siteCoordinate review of documents submitted by the contractorCoordinate vendors coming on site (together with the responsible project leaders).Setup and maintain internal systems & processes to manage incoming inspection reports of inspectors, to allow focussed and clear communication towards the EPC contractor and the site team.Prepare weekly and monthly reports (together with the construction manager)Act as the knowledge center/expert for all inspectors on site (incl. full knowledge of all for contractors documents and ER's/Employers document)In charge of alignment with the Design teamSupport the team with diverse tasks: for example cost benefit analysis of variants,…📚 Profile / RequirementsHard skills and soft skills:You have at least 5 years of relevant working experienceExperience in the offshore sector is preferable.Experience with topside Fabrication is preferable.Experience with multiple disciplines onsite is a must.Experience with Quality Control on a construction site is a plus.Education: EngineeringPossess a VCA VOL/SCC for supervisors certificate.Shall comply with client's PPE and training matrix.Excellent MS Office skills (able to write well structured reports, and manage incoming reports efficiently).Excellent communication and teamwork skillsWorking in team and structuredSafety & quality mindsetA quick learnerOwn PPEs (i.e. safety shoes, safety helmet, hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, ear protection, work attire (long sleeves and pants) and gloves)LanguagesFluent in English, Dutch is a plus🌟 Why join us ?We offer you a position as a consultant within the fascinating world of high tech and innovation.
