Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos State, Nigeria, for a Senior SME Loan Officer. The Senior SME Loan Officer will manage loan origination, underwriting, and customer service processes. Key responsibilities include evaluating loan applicants, assessing their financial status, preparing loan proposals, and conducting credit analyses. The role also involves fostering strong client relationships, providing financial advice, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and policies. Qualifications Skills in Loan Origination and Loan OfficersExperience in Finance and UnderwritingCustomer Service capabilitiesStrong analytical and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience in banking or financial services, preferably in SME lendingProficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of Nigerian banking regulations and practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a team
