You will play a key role in driving digital innovation from the development to delivery of Salesforce technologies shaping the future for our stakeholder's experience.ITP is hosted by the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) and delivers information technology and information management services to 7 government agencies. We connect people, processes, information and technology to deliver better outcomes for Queensland.The OpportunityAs our Senior Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to apply technical knowledge to develop, maintain and implement solutions into the Salesforce platform and services. You will leverage your Salesforce expertise to identify, analyse, and implement innovative solutions using structured problem-solving strategies.The Senior Software Developer, Will Be Responsible ToTranslate conceptual, logical and physical solutions into robust Salesforce applications.Collaborate with business areas to deliver practical solutions that balance performance, usability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness while meeting business needs.Monitor and optimise application performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements.Mentor and coach junior staff fostering growth and building capability within the ITP team.Prepare cost analyses, design considerations and implementation timeframes for new developments.Administer Salesforce through managing platform configurations and monitor solution implementations.Promote a workplace that values innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. What We Are Looking For (qualifications, Registrations, Experience)We are looking for a tech savvy individual who has demonstrated experience in successfully delivering Salesforce-based solutions and has strong skills and experience across Salesforce:platform capabilitiesconfiguration, customisation and development patterns and toolsdata modelling and managementDevOps practices including version control and CI/CD.The Ideal Candidate Will Also HaveStrong knowledge across the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Experience leading Salesforce projects or teams, including planning, resource allocation, mentoring and adherence to standards and timeframes.Experience in Agile project delivery methodologies.
