We enable our customers to discover new and existing features in a vast universe of applications and market data.We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a highly collaborative, multi-functional, agile product development team responsible for building the best-of-class core UIs focusing on customer experience, engineering perfection and time-to-market.Key Responsibilities:Software Development:Design, develop, and maintain web apps and web services using ensuring scalability, security, and high performanceWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeConduct code reviews and establish standard processes for software developmentSystem Design and Architecture:Architect, deploy, and run applications on AWS and Azure platformsOptimise cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and performanceContribute to architectural decisions for back-end systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirementsCollaborate with Product, Design, DevOps engineers to build end-to-end solutionsIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issuesImplement robust monitoring and alerting solutionsProject Management:Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and roadmap developmentEnsure timely delivery of projects, meeting both technical and business objectivesEssential Technical Skills and Experience:5+ years of professional experience in software developmentProficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.jsKnowledge of RESTful API design and micro-services architectureA deep understanding of how Web Browsers work, including in-depth knowledge of:Native browser (DOM) APIsObject-Oriented and Functional ProgrammingPerformance - Layout/Rendering/GC/Object (memory) ManagementUnderstanding of how web frameworks like Angular/React/Vue work under-the-hoodExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience with Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environmentBenefits:We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios!
