Senior Software Engineer

Our MissionTo tackle the challenge of health data accessibility, bridge the rural-urban healthcare divide, and reduce the financial burden of care by creating a secure, standardized, and patient-centered health record system that works seamlessly across Nigeria.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will lead initiatives to build, optimize, and scale the SASRec platform while working closely with the CEO to align technology with business and health system needs. You’ll be a strategic thinker and hands-on builder, able to translate vision into action with precision and speed.This is an opportunity to join as a founding tech partner and shape the architecture of a national-scale health innovation. ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of the SASRec web, mobile, and blockchain components.Identify and integrate strategic technology partnerships that enhance interoperability and user experience.Collaborate directly with the CEO on product roadmap and system architecture.Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructure (HIPAA/GDPR-aligned).Manage integrations with health facilities, insurance systems, and government identity platforms.Think critically and strategically to ensure project success and timely delivery.Maintain existing builds, optimize performance, and ensure system uptime.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).QUALIFICATIONS3–4 years’ experience in software or product development ideally in healthtech or SaaS.Proficiency in Full Stack Development (React, Node.js, Python/Django, or similar).Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and API design.Familiarity with blockchain integration and data security frameworks.Strong communication and collaboration skills.BEHAVIOURSability to execute successful development strategies and deliver quality products on time.Entrepreneurial mindset focused, disciplined, and goal-oriented.Behavioral TraitsHigh ownership, integrity, and accountability.Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment.Strong collaborator who can bridge tech and business goals.Passionate about digital health transformation and social impact innovation.Ready to evolve into a CTO-level leadership role as SASRec scales nationally.WHY JOIN US?Build technology that will transform healthcare access in Nigeria.Equity-based compensation become a true partner in growth.Direct collaboration with the CEO and founding leadership team.Flexible, impact-driven, and innovation-first culture.
