Join the Treblle team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer!Treblle was originally created as a simple tool for monitoring API services, and today we are much more than that. Over the past four years, we have built a series of interconnected products that make it easier for teams and companies to work with API services. Our goal is to create a comprehensive platform that will be used by everyone working with API services - from the first lines of code to production and real-time monitoring. In short, we want to be the foundation of every API process.We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer who wants to work on really challenging technical problems with huge amounts of traffic. You will have the opportunity to work directly on the most important parts of our platform that all our users use. Every month we process over 8TB of data sent directly from 15k different API services on our publicly available platform. Among our clients are also large companies for whom we install local versions of the entire Treblle platform, as they often have a few billion API calls per month.Treblle in numbers 🏆$8.4 million in investment2.8 billion API calls processed per month180k users worldwide15k API services using Treblle20+ team members across 3 continentsWhat you'll be doing 💻As part of our Engineering, Product and Design teams, you'll focus on developing new features and improvements, with an emphasis on scalability and performance. Here's what your day might look like:You will participate in the entire process of developing new products from talking to the end user to releasing the product to productionYou will have the opportunity to work on a very large system where every line of code has a direct impact on the speed of processing API calls and contributes to the user experienceYou will help us scale our services and optimize the AWS infrastructure on which we spend $10K per monthYou will work closely with our product and design teams to solve various technical challenges and provide a better user experience for our usersYou will have the opportunity to work with new technologies in either the PHP or AWS world and help us develop an AI tool that will run entirely on the user's deviceWhat we expect from you 🧰We are looking for someone who loves their job first and foremost and tries to learn how to do something better than yesterday every day.Required:Completed degree in IT or a related field5 years of practical experience with PHP, ideally with Laravel technologies5 years of practical experience working with relational databases and their optimizationExcellent use of English in speech and writingBonus points for:Good knowledge of the AWS ecosystemGood knowledge of dockerized architecturesGood knowledge and work with the Laravel Vapor ecosystemDatabase optimization primarily Singlestore and ClickHouseExperience working on projects with large amounts of dataA few things you need to know before applying 🔍We move quickly and approach everything we do that way.
