For more information, visit www.domino.aiWhat We Are BuildingThe UI Team’s mission is fourfold, 1) enable feature development within the ProdEng pods where capacity/expertise is lacking relative to feature requirements, 2) update the Domino UI to enhance look and feel across the entire UI through the definition and implementation of design components, 3) maintain the frameworks in the Domino UI (e.g. upgrade React to the latest version), 4) set best UI development practices, improve test coverage, increase FE development efficiency, and enhance FE quality.What Your Impact Will BeIn your first year, you willShape the future of Domino’s frontend by developing React-based components and pages that enhance both usability and maintainabilityExtend and refine Domino’s design system to deliver a consistent, modern, and accessible user experience across the platformPower the next generation of AI capabilities by building UI for the evolving Model Registry, transforming it into a full AI Inventory with features like model discovery, customizable model cards, and governance metadata for LLMs and other AI systemsCollaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams to create user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex GenAI and governance workflowsChampion frontend best practices by participating in code reviews and driving improvements in development efficiency, performance, and qualityGain deep product expertise to quickly diagnose and resolve UI issues while contributing to larger architectural initiatives over timeWhat We Look For In This RoleDeep expertise in modern front-end technologies: ideally React + Redux, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Experience with Angular or Vue will also be considered.Hands-on experience with modern build tools and practices such as Vite, Node.js, NPM/Yarn, and WebpackProven track record of shipping high-quality, scalable web applications or reusable UI componentsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills across JavaScript, CSS, and UI layers, with a focus on building fast, high-performance user experiencesProficiency in modern JavaScript testing frameworks like Jest or similar toolsBonus Points ForFamiliarity with Scala or other JVM-based languages (Java, Kotlin, etc.)Knowledge of Kubernetes operators and Helm chartsExperience working with data science workflows or MLOps platformsWhat We ValueWe value a growth mindset.
