Identify opportunities for innovation, influence technical direction, and help shape the long-term strategy for the team and organizationDirect the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. Ensure high-quality engineering standards, remove roadblocks, and drive the team toward successful outcomes that align with organizational goalsLead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, fostering growth, collaboration, and high performance. Provide regular feedback, support career development, and ensure team members are engagedPartner closely with product, design, data, and other engineering teams to define priorities, set clear goals, and deliver impactful solutions. Facilitate effective communication and alignment across stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications:Demonstrated experience of managing technical teamsBS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)Experience of successfully leading impactful organization-level initiativesProven experience growing and mentoring engineering managers and industry level engineersPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones and culturesFamiliarity with data-driven decision making and A/B testing methodologiesExperience in growth engineering, experimentation platforms, or user acquisition/retention strategiesAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
