Senior Software Test Engineer (SAP Focus)

Overview: We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems as we transition from Oracle to SAP. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, with a proven ability to work independently while coaching and mentoring junior team members.Key Responsibilities:Lead software testing initiatives across various projects, ensuring software quality and performance.Independently manage and execute end-to-end test cycles, from test planning to execution and defect management.Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their testing capabilities.Collaborate with development teams to review requirements, design test strategies, and provide feedback.Maintain and optimize automated regression suites (if applicable).Work with project teams to ensure smooth integration between SAP systems, focusing on Supply Chain, Logistics, and Planning processes.Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.Must-Have:Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Software Testing.Strong experience working independently with minimal supervision and coaching junior team members.Excellent knowledge of manual testing processes, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.Nice-to-Have:Experience with SAP systems, particularly in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Planning modules.Previous involvement in transitioning from Oracle to SAP would be a strong advantage.Hands-on experience with JIRA as a test management tool.Exposure to test automation or maintaining automated regression suites.Preference for local candidates to reduce dependency on external resources, though highly skilled expats will also be considered.Qualifications:Relevant degree or equivalent experience.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work across teams effectively.
