This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsSalary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1000000 (ie INR 8-10 LPA)Min Experience: 4 yearsLocation: BengaluruJobType: full-timeAs a Senior Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of SaaS-based analytics platforms. This role involves leading a testing team, designing robust test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product releases with precision and efficiency.RequirementsKey Responsibilities Design, prepare, and execute manual and automated test cases (integration, system, regression) for new product releases. Lead a team in developing test cases, test data, test environments, and automation scripts aligned with established testing standards. Report testing progress, defect status, and product readiness to key stakeholders. Build and maintain test automation frameworks, configuring and maintaining test data for automation workflows. Translate product requirements and use cases into comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Log, track, and validate defects; perform Root Cause Analysis to identify and prevent recurring issues. Maintain thorough documentation, including test reports, dashboards, and test case repositories. Work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth and timely releases. Contribute to Agile testing practices, participating actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and techniques in SaaS testing and automation frameworks. What You'll Bring 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing. Proficiency with tools such as TestLink, Katalon, Locust, Jira, and Selenium. Strong expertise in functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Practical experience testing SaaS-based or web applications. Proven ability to manage, mentor, and guide team members to maintain testing quality and consistency. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
