Senior Solution Architect - SAP - Functional

The core of this map is based on SAP Technologies including S/4 Hana, EWM, Digital Manufacturing, FIORI/UI5…The MTM-NG initiative is a strategic and long-term journey. It is now running full speed and expanding. We are delivering regular releases adding more functionalities to the Global Template. In parallel, we are preparing for further deployment over the coming years beyond the pilot sites. The PositionAs Solution Architect in MTM-NG with a strong SAP knowledge, you will be a key member of the community of Enterprise & Solution architects participating in the MT-NG initiative. Your main goal will be to bring SAP solution architecture design expertise to secure that all architecture design decisions made during this transformation are the best possible ones to meet the business expectations while following SAP best practices & standards.You will work jointly with architects from our organization as well as architects from our SAP Center of Excellence and architects from our partners .The Position Is Built Around 3 PillarsIntegration : Although based on SAP components, the target map needs to be fully integrated in a broader Volvo Group landscape including other SAP and non-SAP solutions. User Experience technologies : We have an objective to provide MTM-NG end-users with a consistent & intuitive User – Experience based on FIORI /UI5 Data availability : It is essential to successfully run our business by enabling various usages like Reporting, Citizen Development, AI, …Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the architecture design of the coming releasesTake the lead for the architecture design of some topics of the coming releasesSupport colleagues driving other topics of the coming releasesIdentify and anticipate mid-term needs for additional design & architecture patterns or toolsConduct Proof-Of-Concept to verify that new patterns and tools are ready for operational useStay informed about the different SAP technologies related to the “position pillars”Consolidate & document Architecture Design Best Practices for MTM-NGAct as an ambassador for these Best PracticesEnsure alignment with Volvo Enterprise Architecture principles including North Star architecture and security directives and policies.Experience & Technical SkillsYou have been actively involved in at least one major SAP program ideally in a manufacturing companyYou have a good functional understanding of the different SAP components relevant for a manufacturing company like the Volvo GroupYou have 10+ years of experience working as SAP technical and functional consultantYou have developed a deep expertise of the SAP architecture and the different techniques available for communication between SAP components and with non-SAP components (RFC, IDOC, API, …)You have worked with User Experience requirements using FIORI / UI5You are well aware of security, performance and other non-functional requirement best practicesYou have been working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
