As our Senior Sous Chef, you'll be the right hand to our Head Chef, playing a pivotal role in delivering culinary excellence that keeps our guests coming back for more. Operational Brilliance: Mastering inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring strict adherence to all food hygiene regulations (HACCP). The Voice of the Kitchen: Seamlessly communicating with front-of-house staff to ensure a harmonious and efficient service. Team Leadership: Managing kitchen staff rotas and handling HR matters in the Head Chef's absence, fostering a positive and productive work environment. A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef in a reputable hotel or hospitality setting. Exceptional communication and people management skills, with a knack for problem-solving and prioritizing in a dynamic environment. A keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering consistent quality and high standards. Proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with budgets, forecasts, and quality assurance. The flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to the exciting pace of a bustling hotel kitchen. A professional appearance and impeccable personal hygiene standards.
