In this role, you will drive the design, production, and delivery of modern naval vessels for the Royal Danish Navy. This is a full-time, permanent position, with occasional travel required.Your Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Structural Lead for structural construction, you will lead and coordinate the structural construction activities throughout the naval vessel production lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:Defining and planning the structural construction route from design to production.Leading the production engineering process and providing technical support to procurement.Serving as the technical point of contact for structural construction matters across departments and with suppliers.Managing resources, supervising assembly, and ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and HSE standards.Supporting production planning to develop efficient and buildable solutions.Your Profile & QualificationsWe are seeking a proactive and technically adept engineer who excels in a multidisciplinary environment and has a passion for shipbuilding and naval defence.Ideal QualificationsBSc or MSc in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience in shipbuilding / ship construction Alternative could be experience from large scale off-shore construction and / or infrastructure sites or process facilities.Familiarity with international classification rules (e.g., DNV, ABS); knowledge of naval or defence standards is highly beneficial.Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.Fluency in English is required; Danish language skills are a significant advantage.You should have a structured, quality-focused approach with excellent coordination and communication skills.High personal integrity and a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.Welcome to Semco MaritimeAt Semco Maritime, we create change.
