Fujitsu is looking for a Senior Support Engineer for our client in Lausanne.You will be reporting to the IT Director.Start: ASAPContract: 6 months + option for permanent employmentYour role:To provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to internal and external users, ensure preventive maintenance of IT systems within scope, and contribute to continuous improvement of the IT environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage user support tickets (incidents and service requests), including delegation and monitoring of escalations to Level 3Diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issuesInstall, configure, and maintain workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and peripheralsAssist with user account management and access rights administrationMaintain local IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and backupsParticipate in IT infrastructure and asset upgrade projectsTrain and raise awareness among users on IT best practices and security policiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent certifications and trainingExperience:Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced technical support rolesTechnical SkillsProficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, and Exchange OnlineExperience with Linux and FreeBSD systemsSolid virtualization skills with VMware and snapshot managementNetworking knowledge: LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewall managementUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles including MFA, identity management, and endpoint hardeningExperience with IT ticketing systems such as GLPI, Freshdesk, or ServiceNowAdditional Knowledge:Familiarity with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and IT asset management systemsPersonal Attributes:Service-oriented mindsetHighly autonomous and detail-orientedStrong analytical skillsDiscreet and trustworthyExcellent communication skillsLanguages all 3 are MUST haves:Fluent in FrenchGerman (B2 level) minimumTechnical English proficiencyDo not hesitate to apply!
