OverviewAtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor to lead and supervise surveying activities across major infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all land and construction survey data used in project execution.Your roleGuide and supervise the contractor to conduct reference points, benchmarks, and detailed topographic, boundary, and construction surveys to capture accurate elevation, contour, feature data, and stakes on construction sites to guide contractors in accurately positioning structures, roads, utilities, and other project components.Guide and supervise the contractor to utilise advanced surveying instruments such as GPS and Total Station and level machines and drones to collect data efficiently and accurately. Supervision Overall Construction (survey work) activities.Process survey data using relevant software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D, Excel to generate precise maps and drawings, Coordination between contractor and client.Check construction and any implementing item's locations and levels established by the contractor(s) and organise field investigations and necessary surveys conducted by others for the detailed solution to any problem which may arise during construction.Analyse survey data for accuracy and consistency, making necessary adjustments as required.Quality Assurance and Compliance: Land Surveyors ensure that surveying activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices. They perform quality assurance checks on survey data, verify survey accuracy, and address any discrepancies or errors to maintain the integrity of the surveying process.Communication and Collaboration: Land Surveyors communicate regularly to coordinate surveying activities, provide progress updates, and address project requirements and concerns.They collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate surveying data into overall project plans.Inspect the work done by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted practice.Supervised all survey activities on site, reviewed and quality control acceptance of all fieldwork and determined the scope of the survey, selected appropriate survey methods and equipment, and developed survey plans that met project requirements.Ensure that necessary documentation is maintained for the various stages of the work and close the IREs on the approved sanger by following the project specifications and approved documents.Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of survey equipment.Keep, monitor, and follow up as necessary and complete records concerning the execution of the works.Assist in the review of the contractor's method statement for execution of the works.Assist the engineering team in reviewing technical queries raised by the contractor regarding issues related to missing information from site measurements.Liaise with the Chief Land Surveyor / SRE for the effective implementation of the quality management systems and site supervision provision activities.Ensure that all statutory authority NOCs / permits/design approvals are available on-site for construction.Conduct regular (daily) site visits and supervise to verify the work's compliance with the contract documents.Raise Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) & Site Observation Reports (SORs) to identify quality deficiencies in conjunction with the SRE/Chief Land Surveyor / QA/QC personnel.Review the corrective actions proposed by the contractor, respond/follow ups and close out procedure.Any potential safety concerns identified at the site shall be reported to site HSE personnel / SRE/ Chief Land Surveyor.Assist in verifying the accuracy of the contractor's "As-Built" drawings by performing as-built survey data.About YouBachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.10+ years of experience in land surveying in infrastructure projects within KSA.Technical SkillsProficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, Leica Geo Office).Skilled in using GPS, total stations, theodolites, and other surveying tools.Strong understanding of geodetic principles and mapping techniques.Rewards & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.This includes:Tax-free salary.Comprehensive life insurance coverage.Premium medical insurance for you and your dependents.Generous annual leave balance.Flexible and hybrid work solutions.Remote work opportunities outside of country.Company gratuity scheme.Discretionary bonus program.Annual flight contribution.Relocation assistance.Transportation & housing allowances (available for remote work locations)Employee Wellbeing Program: 24/7 access to specialists in finance, legal matters, family care, personal health, fitness, and nutrition.Seize every opportunity to sharpen your skills, expand your expertise, and be recognized for the impact you make.About AtkinsRéalisWe're AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization.
