Difference makes us better.ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the architecture of security features across silicon, firmware, and OS layersTranslate product and customer requirements into clear system-level security specificationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver secure, scalable solutionsDevelop system threat models and conduct security reviews to identify and mitigate risksDrive alignment across engineering teams through clear documentation and technical leadershipStay current with evolving security technologies, threats, and best practicesQualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience. - Proven background in hardware and/or firmware security. - Ability to lead architecture discussions, write clear design documents, and drive alignment across teams. - Solid collaboration and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: - Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications: - Years of experience in system, hardware, or firmware engineering. - Experience designing secure system-level solutions across silicon, firmware, and OS layers. - Familiarity with technologies and flows such as HSMs, TPMs, secure boot, attestation, and virtualization. - Understanding of cryptographic protocols, key management, and secure communications. - Hands-on involvement in SoC development from concept to bring-up. - Knowledge of OS and supply chain security.
