The opportunity As the Senior Systems Administrator for Splunk, you'll be the go-to expert responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our Splunk Enterprise environment. Your work will empower data-driven decision-making across the organisation, ensuring our systems are running at peak performance while delivering innovative solutions for improvement to meet stakeholder needs.This is your chance to own the Splunk Enterprise Environment. Coordinate the pipeline of work and demonstrate technical expertise in configuration, monitoring, implementation, upgrades, backup, and systems management, whilst fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.You Will Also Be Responsible ToReview and improve service delivery based on feedback and service metrics.Act as the escalation point for complex incidents, service requests, and problems.Apply agile, adaptive processes to anticipate and respond to challenges, delivering solutions that align with our strategic direction.Work closely with stakeholders to coordinate system upgrades, testing, maintenance, and change releases.Maintain high-quality documentation, processes, and reports in line with organisational standards.Contribute to a workplace that values performance, innovation, equity, diversity, and collaborationWhat We Are Looking For (qualifications, Registrations, Experience) Demonstrated experience in the administration of and problem solving a Splunk Enterprise SaaS platform.Demonstrated experience in using Search Processing Language (SPL), search optimisation and dashboard development along with HTML5 and CSS.Demonstrated experience with the integration of enterprise systems, such as Office 365, Azure, Entra, SCOM, and AWS with Splunk.Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal technical support teams, stakeholders and vendors to deliver successful solutions.Exposure to the following technologies:Microsoft Power BI and FabricMicrosoft PowerShellEndpoint Protection and VPN solutions.You must have the legal right to live and work in Australia.
