Job Description

Typical AccountabilitiesEnsure full compliance with Thai tax regulations, including accurate and timely filing and payment of all tax obligations (CIT, VAT, WHT, and others) of two local entities, while proactively identifying reconciling items and potential tax issues.Collaborate with Revenue Department officers, external tax advisors, transfer pricing consultants, and auditors to ensure compliance with tax and transfer pricing requirements, driving timely resolution of issues and implementation of corrective actions.Serve as a tax business partner to management and cross-functional teams, providing expert advice and identifying tax optimization opportunities in business operations or new projects.Lead and represent the company during tax audits by the Thailand Revenue Department, ensuring all required documentation and responses are accurate, complete, and submitted within the prescribed timelines.Serve as the key liaison with the Group Head of Tax, providing regular updates on local tax matters, transfer pricing activities, and audit progress through the Tax Audit Tracker.Verify that import/export customs declarations are consistent with commercial invoices and output VAT reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness in VAT reporting.Oversee end-to-end AP tax processes, including invoice verification, tax compliance checks, payment execution, and maintenance of complete, audit-ready tax and AP records.Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Group Head of Tax or Site Financial Controller, supporting the overall tax governance framework of the company.Qualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA, Tax Auditor, or Master’s in Taxation preferred).Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on experience in corporate tax, VAT, WHT compliances; and tax audit within a multinational or manufacturing environment.Exposure to transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transactions.Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes including invoice verification and payment execution.Good understanding of tax accounting concepts, including deferred tax, tax reconciliation (fiscal vs. commercial), and tax provisions.Preferred SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to identify risks and propose practical solutions.High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational discipline.Effective communicator both Thai and English — able to coordinate confidently with Revenue Department officers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.Self-driven, reliable, and able to manage multiple deadlines under minimal supervision.Integrity, professionalism, and strong sense of accountability in managing confidential information.
