No Sponsorship will be provided for this role.Location: On Site in Memphis, TN; Maryville, TN; Birmingham, AL; Lafayette,LA; New Orleans,LA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC or Dallas, TXWeekly Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9am-5pmJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Analyst with strong experience in agile projects, exceptional user story creation and acceptance criteria development, and robust knowledge of release management and production processes. The ideal candidate will leverage AI tools and automation to enhance their workflow, enabling greater focus on delivering strategic value for our clients and associates. This hands-on role supports the technology team by participating in the design, development, integration, migration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of core applications and data solutions. The Senior Technical Analyst will plan, design, document, and maintain the First Horizon digital interface application releases and creating and coordinating supporting technical and business documentation. They will collaborate as a member on a team of developers, business analysts, product managers, and QA/testing staff to schedule and organize releases with high quality documentation to deliver a modern and top-notch new website experience for our internal and external customers. The role requires broad technical knowledge and data analysis skills as well as clear understanding of product management responsibilities and how to drive complex release processes. We are looking for someone who can apply our advanced toolsets and AI/automation to the release process to lighten the administrative burden. Further, the candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team to facilitate release as well as drive other key processes and initiatives within the Digital Engineering team.Required and Preferred Technical And Analytical Skills: Ability to collaborate with associates, internal clients, and Product Owners to gather, analyze, and document both business and technical requirements. Translate requirements into detailed technical specifications, solution designs, and actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Analyze and optimize workflows, data models, and technical integrations, preparing detailed documentation including data flows and process charts. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review sessions. Perform root-cause analysis for production incidents and assist in defining new feature requests. Ability to assist in maintaining accurate and comprehensive system documentation, technical records, and clear correspondence throughout project lifecycles. Knowledge of release management practices, as well as UAT and integration testingExperience in supporting the deployment of applications in a containerized, cloud environment (e.g., Kubernetes)Able to perform data analysis and pattern finding for effective researchKnowledge of SQL Queries and Stored Procedures is a plusStay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI—and apply tools to increase efficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and workflow optimization.
