Senior Technical Engineer (MEP)

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Sr. Technical Engineer (MEP) to join our MEP Team in a High Rise Tower Project in Dubai.Duties and Responsibilities:Review and understand MEP design drawings, specifications, and IFC documents.Coordinate MEP shop drawings and ensure timely submission and approvals.Verify and validate material submittals against project requirements and technical specifications.Ensure technical compliance of site activities with project requirements.Provide technical guidance to site supervisors and subcontractors for installation activities.Monitor site installation works for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, ELV, and BMS systems.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to approved drawings and quality standards.Resolve technical issues and respond to RFI’s (Requests for Information) in coordination with consultants and design teams.Coordinate MEP works with structural, architectural, and civil teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.Prepare and maintain technical reports, method statements, and installation checklists.Support in the preparation of As-Built drawings and O&M manuals.Maintain logs for shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and technical queries.Ensure MEP systems comply with local authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).Work with QA/QC teams to implement inspection and testing plans (ITPs).Ensure MEP works are executed safely, and in accordance with project HSE requirements.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.8+ Years of relevant work experienceProficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, etc.
