The primary role of the Senior Technical Product Manager is to drive the technical strategy, architecture, and execution of complex healthcare SaaS products, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet both business and regulatory requirements.Let’s Talk About ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute technical product strategies for healthcare SaaS platforms, including APIs, infrastructure, and integrations.Collaborate closely with engineering teams to guide architectural decisions, manage technical debt, and ensure scalability and maintainability.Review and approve technical designs, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and interoperability standards relevant to healthcare (e.g., HIPAA).Lead technical discovery and feasibility assessments for new features, integrations, and third-party partnerships.Translate business and clinical requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for engineering teams.Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends in healthcare SaaS to inform platform evolution and innovation.Serve as a subject matter expert on technical aspects of the product, providing guidance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Troubleshoot complex technical issues, collaborating with engineering and support teams to resolve root causes and implement long-term solutions.Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure all technical solutions adhere to healthcare regulations and best practices.Mentor junior technical product managers and engineers on best practices in technical product management and healthcare SaaS development.RequiredLet’s talk about Qualifications and ExperienceDemonstrated expertise in cloud-based architecture and SaaS platform development, with a focus on healthcare applications.Proficiency in API design, data integration, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for healthcare SaaS (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).Experience collaborating with engineering teams on system architecture, scalability, and technical debt management.Ability to translate complex business and clinical requirements into technical specifications.Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking in technical environments.Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrates "drives collaboration" by building trust and strong partnerships across technical and business teams.PreferredExperience with healthcare data platforms, EHR integrations, or clinical workflow solutions.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in regulated environments.Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.We are shaping the future at ResMed, and we recognize the need to build on and broaden our existing skills and continue to attract and retain the world’s best talent. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.Base Pay Range For This Position$118,000 - $148,000 - $178,000For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
