About CherryStarted in 2019, Cherry is an extremely fast growing FinTech that has built the simplest, fastest, and most inclusive Buy Now, Pay Later solution for medical practices such as dentists, medical aesthetics, veterinarians etc.Cherry enables medical practices to treat more patients by making their services more financially accessible.Cherry was founded and is led by Stanford entrepreneurs with a previous successful exit and backed by an all-star lineup of investors such as Kleiner Perkins and DCM.About the RoleAs we continue to rapidly expand our business at Cherry, we're looking to hire multiple founding Technical Recruiters to join our recruiting team and help us build out a US based engineering team.The ideal candidate has the proven ability to find and attract A-players across Engineering and Product roles. This is a remote position with occasional travel for team off-sites and bi-annual company retreat.ResponsibilitiesPlan, initiate, and execute strategic sourcing to build robust candidate pipelinesIdentify top performing candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, networking, etc)Interact with potential candidates on professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Handshake and Indeed), niche job boards, and leveraging our current employee networksConduct initial screenings, technical assessments, and coordinate interview processesCollaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand their hiring needs and proactively translate that into a positive candidate and interviewer experienceMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, sourcing activities, and recruitment metrics using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other toolsReport on data, historical knowledge, and industry trends to help drive more effective recruiting strategiesAssist hiring managers will scheduling and coordinating interviewsReach out to potential candidates through email, phone calls, social media, and other communication channels to introduce job opportunities and establish initial contact when neededWork on projects that improve and streamline the recruitment process during off-hiring quartersExecute initiatives with scope beyond your job description as neededQualificationsProven top performer - 5+ years of technical recruiting experience in a start up environment as a top 10% performerRuthless screener - Experience using LinkedIn boolean searches to find the best possible talentExpert closer - Provides an exceptional candidate experience and strong ability to sell the company and roleThink like an owner - Independent worker and self starter in a remote work environmentCreative thinker - Ability to come up with new ways to executive and get stuff doneTeam player - Experience at an early-stage company with a broad array of assigned responsibilitiesNice to haves - Experience using Gem and AshbyCompensation PackageAttractive base pay with additional bonus incentivesGenerous equity grantFantastic time off plan including company wide December holiday shutdownMedical, vision, and dental benefitsFully remote companySummer and winter company retreatsCherry provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
