Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve conducting engineering tasks related to pre- and post-order processes, project engineering, and layout design for both New Sales and Service Sales orders.Key Responsibilities:Conduct engineering tasks related to pre- and post-order processes, project engineering, and layout design for both New Sales and Service Sales orders.Provide technical advice to Sales Support and Service during the sales process for calculating order-specific requirements.Create technical documentation tailored to orders, including P&IDs, machine layouts, installation drawings, utility specifications, transport and handling guidelines, and manual updates.Assist Mechanical Design Engineers in meeting engineering requirements.Finalize documentation for order execution, including Engineering BOMs for production and assembly drawings.Offer support to Production and Assembly teams during the execution phase.Collaborate with the Supply Chain on items with long lead times, clarify technical documents, validate suppliers, and implement corrective measures.Aid in solving unexpected technical problems during the Installation and Commissioning phase of projects.Provide assistance to Service for modifications to the Installed Base, upgrades, and third-level customer support.Support Project Management throughout project execution.Ensure the integrity of technical (product) master data and compliance with relevant rules and regulations (e.g., ANSI, OSHA, Machine Directive - CE).Address claim issues and determine corrective actions for products.Promote continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, tool utilization, systems, and personnel development.Oversee the engineering budget for each order.Ensure compliance with Engineering Quality Management procedures, specifications, and standards.Requirements:Strong background in engineering, with previous experience in technical support or a related field.Proficient in creating technical documentation and understanding engineering drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address technical issues efficiently.Adept at collaboration across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Production, and Project Management.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Work with the team in Europe or North America, which may lead to working outside of business hoursIf interested, please submit your application to cvs@jdawms.com with your expected salary and resume.We regret that only short-listed candidates will be contacted shortly.
