Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Telecom Project Manager to join our client’s team and lead complex, large-scale projects in Unified Communications & Collaboration (UC&C) and Contact Center transformation. Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will oversee the delivery of enterprise-grade telephony and communication solutions across hybrid infrastructures, ensuring seamless implementation, integration, and migration between technologies.This role offers the opportunity to drive high-impact ICT projects in a dynamic environment, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders to deliver on-time, on-budget, and in line with business goals.Role & Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementTake full ownership for project delivery in alignment with the Statement of Work.Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and communication.Oversee requirements gathering, resource allocation, and project tracking to ensure quality outcomes.Ensure client business and technical needs are met, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Represent yourself as the delivery leader, guiding internal and external teams through the entire project lifecycle.Planning & ExecutionDefine and document project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.Conduct detailed assessments of existing telephony and contact center environments.Develop and manage full-scale project plans, timelines, and communication materials.Identify dependencies, critical paths, and potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies.Deliver consistent progress updates, proposals, and presentations to project stakeholders.Evaluate and analyze vendor proposals for compliance with technical and functional requirements.Profile & QualificationsExperience & ExpertiseSenior-level profile with at least 20 years of experience in project management across telecom domains, including UC&C and Contact Centers.Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects for public institutions or transport-related organizations.Proven track record leading RFP processes and familiarity with public procurement procedures.Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Telephony, Genesys Cloud, and SIP/SBC architectures (Audiocodes or equivalent).Knowledge of ICT Mobile Telephony infrastructure is a plus.Project Management SkillsProficiency with recognized methodologies such as Prince2, PMI, or PM².Strong ability to balance scope, budget, and stakeholder expectations in complex environments.Experience facilitating steering committees (SteerCo) with C-level executives and managing communication across matrixed teams.Skilled in coordinating multiple internal and external partners, negotiating scope, and resolving conflicts.Languages & Work SetupExcellent communication skills in French, Dutch, and English, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.Hybrid work model: presence required onsite twice per week (currently Tuesday and Thursday) for team reviews and project governance meetings.Comfortable working autonomously and adapting to changing priorities.
