This role will lead testing and quality assurance efforts across payment channel integrations, ensuring seamless transaction processing, product stability, and adherence to fintech standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software development in test (SDET), particularly within payment gateways, POS systems, or digital banking platforms.Key Responsibilities Test Planning & ExecutionLead testing of payment channel integrations across multiple systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalabilityDesign and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests for fintech applications and POS systemsDevelop mock platforms and test environments to simulate external payment systems and APIsTake ownership of full-cycle project testing: plan, execute, track, and verify defect fixes Quality Assurance & Issue ManagementMonitor and investigate online issues (production incidents) to identify root causes, validate fixes, and prevent recurrenceMaintain detailed documentation of defects, test cases, and test resultsCollaborate with local and global development teams to ensure efficient resolution of software defects Testing Tools & Framework OptimizationWork closely with developers to improve testing tools, frameworks, and automation efficiencyDevelop scripts or utilities to enhance test coverage, data validation, and API reliabilityContribute to the standardization of QA processes and promote best practices across engineering teams Compliance & StandardsEnsure compliance with international payment and POS standards such as ISO8583, EMV, PCI DSS, and relevant fintech security frameworksValidate all test processes against PalmPay’s internal development lifecycle (SDLC) standards and policies Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementPartner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to support the release of high-quality financial applicationsProvide technical leadership in defining QA methodologies, reporting structures, and automation opportunitiesParticipate in knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and mentoring of junior QA engineersQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 2 years in fintech or payment systemsProven experience in manual and automated testing of payment integrations, APIs, and financial softwareStrong knowledge of Java / Java EE applications and related testing toolsProficiency with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, or Postman)Hands-on experience with API, performance, and regression testingFamiliarity with POS systems, EMV/ISO8583 protocols, and transaction message flowsExcellent analytical, debugging, and communication skillsFluency in English and Bangla (written and verbal)Preferred SkillsExperience working in fintech, banking, or payment gateway environmentsUnderstanding of microservices testing, CI/CD pipelines, and API automationKnowledge of Linux environments and scripting languages (Python, Shell, or JavaScript)Experience in cross-border payment systems and digital financial integrationsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary package with annual performance reviewTwo festival bonuses per yearMobile and internet allowanceHealth insurance and paid annual leaveOpportunity to work with a global fintech company shaping digital payments in emerging marketsPowered by JazzHRrtNLS3Ns9g
