As a Senior Test Engineer, System Test, you will play a key role in our industrial, medical, and security product development programs. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for system-level hardware and reliability verification, enabling rapid design iteration and ensuring robust, validated products ready for production and customer use.You will work as part of cross-functional project teams, collaborating closely with R&D, system engineering, quality, and manufacturing to translate product requirements into effective verification and validation (V&V) strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, develop, and own system-level hardware and environmental reliability test strategies for sensor and imaging productsPlan and execute comprehensive verification and validation activities across product development phasesPerform and coordinate electrical, functional, and reliability testing, including environmental and stress testingIdentify design, process, and system-level vulnerabilities and drive corrective actions together with design teamsCreate, maintain, and document test plans, test reports, and V&V summaries in accordance with project and quality requirementsSupport rapid design iteration by providing clear, data-driven feedback to R&D teamsCollaborate with global stakeholders to ensure consistent validation practices across projects and sitesContribute to the continuous improvement of system test methodologies, tools, and best practicesWhat we expectMore than 5 years of experience in hardware and reliability test development, characterization, and system validationB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related fieldStrong experience in developing product-level test and validation strategiesSolid hands-on background in:Electrical and functional hardware testingReliability testing, such as vibration and shock, fatigue, electrical stress, EMC, and thermal stress testingProven ability to plan, execute, and document V&V activities, including overall test reporting and result analysisA structured, analytical mindset with a strong sense for finding weak points in designs and processesIntermediate to advanced English language skills, both written and spoken Expected Value of Short- and Long-Term Goals1–6 monthsBecome familiar with DT products, technologies, processes, and key stakeholdersTake ownership of ongoing system test and validation activities in assigned projects6–12 monthsLead system-level V&V planning and execution in assigned projectsAct as a key contributor to test strategy decisions and design trade-offs12–24 monthsDrive improvements in system test and reliability validation practicesAct as a senior expert influencing validation approaches across multiple projects LocationThis position is based in Oulu, Finland.
