In this role, you will be part of the Remote and Autonomous (R&A) team working with internal and external stakeholders in creating, managing and implementing test and release strategies and operations in the Vessel-Connectivity-Remote Operation Center-Port Infrastructure pipeline ensuring its stability and integrity. You will be leading matrixed test and release activities as part of the R&A R&D team for complex and integrated SW and HW product development and deployment. Your responsibilities will include the whole product and technology test life-cycle management from project initiation to product ramp-down. Candidates will be considered continuously.Key AccountabilitiesCreate, implement and maintain an overall testing strategy for Remote and Autonomous products and projects.Plan and run operative testing activities together with test leads from multiple product and technology teamsCreate test cases and scenarios based on product and customer requirements with the aim to holistically test for improved performance of integrated productsReport test results by consolidating and analysing findings and constructing comprehensive test reportsEnsure a closed loop process from bugs to a sustainable resolutionImprove and automate the testing by assessing the effectiveness of the testing process against targetsLead matrixed project teams and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the teamsCultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and seamless project executionIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize product and project disruptionsQualifications And ExperienceExtensive validation and verification experience in integrated SW and HW productsDemonstrated experience in improving stability and quality of integrated IT systemsSkilled in analysing bugs and finding root causes as well as creating and executing action plans to fix system issuesProject management competence and experience, preferably in the maritime industryTechnical understanding and experience about automation and control systems. In marine environments is seen as a plus.Knowledge about remotely operated and/or autonomous systems is a plus.Master / Bachelor of Science or other relevant fieldsFluent communication skills in English.
