Senior Transactions Manager / Transactions Manager

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Transactions Manager / Transactions Manager to execute real estate transactions across our growing national portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, exceptional stakeholder management capability, and the ability to manage complex transactions end to end while contributing to Haben’s broader investment strategy.About HabenHaben is a privately owned funds and property management business that specialises in unlocking value from retail shopping centres located across the East Coast of Australia. We are growing rapidly whilst maintaining our personal touch, and care both about our community of co investors and partners, and the communities where our assets are located.About the roleReporting to the Head of Capital Transactions, the Senior Transactions Manager / Transactions Manger will play a critical role in maintaining transaction momentum and execution quality across the platform. Key responsibilities include: Leading the end to end execution of property acquisitions, divestments and capital transactions.Undertaking advanced financial analysis, scenario modelling and cash flow forecasting to support investment decisions.Preparing high quality investment materials, including IMs, Investment Committee papers, Board papers and executive level presentations.Coordinating transaction due diligence processes, engaging and managing multiple internal and external consultant teams. Acting as key contact for agents, valuers and consultants and managing these relationships through active transactions. Contributing strategic insights by tracking market trends, asset performance and key investment risks.Maintaining clear, accurate and disciplined transaction documentation, records and models.Providing guidance within the Capital Transactions team, supporting capability uplift and execution discipline. About youProven experience in real estate transactions, investment management, corporate finance or a related with direct exposure to retail commercial property. Strong knowledge of retail shopping centre assets and financial modelling capability, with advanced analytical and commercial judgement.Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Advanced financial modelling capability with strong proficiency in excel and relevant modelling tools (Forbury advantageous).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.A detail driven, proactive mindset, with a high standard of execution and follow through.Comfortable working both autonomously and within a dynamic team environment.Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Property or a related field.Based on site at our modern Double Bay Head Office, you will be part of a dynamic and growing team.
