Senior UI/UX Designer - Takamul|About the roleJoin our design team as a Senior UI/UX Designer, where you’ll be responsible for creating engaging and intuitive user experiences for our fintech digital products. You will play a key role in designing the aesthetics and usability of our web and mobile financial applications, ensuring they are visually appealing, accessible, and easy to navigate. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver user-centric solutions that align with our business goals and enhance the financial experience for our users.|What You’ll DoPrimary ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership: Lead UI/UX design projects across the entire product lifecycle, setting the vision for the user experience and creating space for others to collaborate on financial product designUser-Centered Design: Conduct user research, create user personas, and design wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows specifically for fintech applicationsPrototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes that clearlyillustrate how financial platforms function and look, testing and iterating designs based on user feedbackCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product man- agers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive design language and user experience across all fintech product touchpointsBrand Consistency: Ensure consistency in visual elements and defining be- behavior that aligns with brand guidelines and financial industrystan- dardsTeam Mentoring: Mentor junior designers, providing them with guidance and feedback on their work while building design capabilities within the teamIndustry Awareness: Keep abreast of competitor financial products, fintech trends, and emerging design patterns in the financial services industryEducationMinimum: Bachelor’s degree in Design,Computer Science, or a relatedfieldPreferred: Advanced degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fieldYears of Experience: Minimum 5 years in UI/UX design, particularly in tech, fintech, or financial services productsIndustry Experience: Experience with financial applications, payment sys- teams, or fintech products preferredRole-Specific Experience: Proven track record in leading design projects and mentoring junior designers|Technical and Behavioral SkillsTechnical SkillsCore Technologies:Modern designtools (Figma, Sketch,Adobe XD) - ProficientResponsive designand mobile-first principlesDesign Expertise:User researchand usability testingWireframing, prototyping, and user journeymappingInformation architecture and interaction designTools &Platforms:Design systemsand component librariesCollaboration tools (Miro)Version controlfor design filesSoft SkillsCommunication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsLeadership:Ability to lead designinitiatives and guide team membersProblem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailCollaboration: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsAdditionalCertifications:UX Design certifications (GoogleUX Design, NielsenNorman Group)Accessibility certifications (WCAG compliance)Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with design systemsand component librariesKnowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics)Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive designIndustry Knowledge:Understanding of financial servicesuser experience requirementsExperience with regulatory compliance in UI/UX designKnowledge of fintech industrytrends and user behavior patterns
