As we expand our product ecosystem, we are seeking visionary designers who can blend creativity with structure to shape intuitive, beautiful, and scalable experiences across the continuum of care.Job SummaryThe Senior UI/UX Designer will lead the end-to-end design of Allia’s customer-facing platforms, shaping experiences that connect patients, providers, and internal operations. In this role, you will transform complex healthcare workflows into clear, elegant, and user-centered digital solutions that improve how people experience care.Your first few months will focus on establishing design standards, accessibility frameworks, and visual systems that bring consistency across Allia’s products. As you progress, you will deliver high-fidelity prototypes and user journeys, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and QA to ensure seamless delivery from concept to implementation.Success in this role is defined by measurable impact—improved usability and efficiency across workflows, increased adoption and satisfaction among users, and reduced design and technical debt through scalable systems. This is a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is passionate about shaping the digital future of healthcare.Key ResponsibilitiesUX Strategy & LeadershipLead end-to-end design of complex, multi-user workflows across web and mobile SaaS platforms.Define and implement a UI/UX strategy that balances clinical, operational, and business objectives while achieving measurable usability and engagement goals.Act as a design thought partner to Product and Engineering leadership, advocating for best-in-class usability, accessibility, and design excellence.Translate Allia’s vision of a vertically integrated digital health system into connected, intuitive experiences that align with business and clinical outcomes.Product Design ExecutionConduct user research and workflow mapping to inform product decisions and identify areas for continuous improvement.Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and behavioral specifications to guide engineering teams with clarity and precision.Deliver high-fidelity designs and collaborate through QA to ensure visual integrity and accessibility compliance (WCAG).Continuously measure and optimize user experiences through data-driven insights and feedback loops.Design Systems & StandardsBuild, maintain, and evolve a unified design system that supports scalability and visual consistency across platforms.Partner with Engineering to implement reusable UI components, ensuring design fidelity and cross-functional alignment.Reduce design and technical debt through scalable systems, reusable components, and improved development efficiency.Collaboration & InfluenceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align design deliverables with sprint cycles, QA testing, and release schedules.Present design concepts and influence product decisions through storytelling, research insights, and data-informed design.Partner with leadership to shape a design culture grounded in collaboration, accessibility, and innovation.QualificationsRequired5–8 years of progressive UI/UX experience, including 5+ years in SaaS product design.Proven experience designing enterprise or healthcare SaaS platforms with complex workflows.Expert proficiency in Figma (preferred) or equivalent prototyping tools.Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and UX research.Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering teams (APIs, front-end frameworks, etc.).Familiarity with Linear, Jira, or Asana for sprint and QA management.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.PreferredExperience with AI-driven or data-intensive design environments.Background in healthcare, fintech, or telehealth platform design.Demonstrated success building or evolving large-scale design systems.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience ($64,900–$88,500 USD).Opportunity to work remotely within Portugal.Collaborative, high-growth environment with access to senior leadership.Professional development opportunities within a global digital health organization.Equal Opportunity EmployerAllia Health Group celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
