Brandt Group of Companies is currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales – Manufactured Products. Our Senior VP of Sales will be responsible to develop and manage an outstanding sales and distribution organization that delivers industry leading sales, growth and profitability for Brandt’s Manufactured Products. This job opportunity is onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan.Duties and Responsibilities:People ManagementTo recruit, train and retain competent sales personnel through the leadership of the VP of Sales and Director of Sales.Provide leadership to the Sales Team to ensure we are constantly maximizing our sales and net income.Develop a culture within the sales organization that is focused on the key organizational goals and ensures outstanding customer satisfaction.Sales ManagementFocus sales organization on goal setting, forecasting, budgeting, market analysis, account management, and dealer development. Set and achieve sales and profitability goals that are aligned with the overall company budget.This would include;-Marketing plans for each major market with the assistance of the industry directors.-Monitor regional and dealer marketing plans.-Projecting the total company sales on an annual basis and reviewing sales trends on a monthly basis. -Reporting market trends in each of the markets where Brandt participates.Manage product allocation, inventory levels, and distribution to the Territories.Work with the Credit Department to make credit decisions.Build corporate, business, and personal relationships with key accounts.Approve expense accounts.Ensure the sales team is the best in the industry. This will be accomplished through training, recruiting, and retaining the best people.Marketing ManagementUnderstand and anticipate marketplace opportunities, issues and trends. Use this knowledge to develop strategies and action plans with the assistance of the Marketing team and Directors of Sales in each industry that optimize the business results for Brandt. Monitor actions and assumptions and revise plans accordingly. Assessing competitor activities and reacting accordingly.Help Develop and execute products strategy with the help of the Marketing team that maximizes long-term product profits.Develop and manage a distribution strategy that gives our products a competitive advantage.Launch new products in a way that maximizes market share and creates awareness to the key product features.Manage the delivery of the product communications strategy which creates broad awareness to key product messages within our target audience. This includes trade shows.Recommend pricing and programs strategies that will maximize market share and optimize net income.Product DevelopmentRecommend products to be developed or acquired and provide input to the Product Development Process including market trends, competitive product and pricing information, market size and other relevant information.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a related industry, accompanied with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in management or business operations.Proven ability to build and grow sales in a team environment.Strong understanding of business planning, financial and cost management, and achieving goals.Strong organization and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and consistent customer focus.Ability to work independently and as a team player within a large organization.Ability to lead by example, take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Ability to be flexible and adaptable.Ability to positively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives.Degree or diploma with a business focus considered an asset.Possess a valid Driver’s license.Possess and maintain a valid passport and available to travel internationally.To learn more about this position please visit www.brandtjobs.com and enter the tracking code 11201-046 into the search field.We would like to thank all candidates in advance for their interest in this position, however only those being considered will be contacted.
