While this is optional, candidates who provide a video presentation will be given priority. We’re looking for a detail-oriented SEO & User Research Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who loves understanding users, analyzing behavior, and turning insights into actionable recommendations that improve website performance, UX, and discoverability.You’ll work closely with the design and leadership teams to ensure our websites not only look amazing but are optimized for real users and real search results. Your work will guide content and design decisions, educate the team on SEO best practices, and uncover insights that help the business grow.This role combines SEO strategy, user research, and team education, helping ensure every website is intuitive, effective, and high-performing.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp define and improve our SEO processes, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with the web design team so SEO supports the site without driving the design.Educate the team on how SEO works, so their work naturally aligns with search best practices.Simplify complex SEO concepts into plain language that anyone on the team can understand.Use natural insightfulness to anticipate questions and provide guidance on areas the team “should have asked.”Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to understand user behavior, needs, and pain points.Analyze SEO performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve traffic, engagement, and conversions.Collaborate with designers and writers to ensure content and UI decisions align with user insights and SEO strategy.Continuously monitor trends and best practices in SEO and user research.Requirements2–3 years of experience in SEO, user research, UX research, or a related field. Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, site structure, on-page optimization, and performance tracking. Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research. Proficiency with Google Analytics and Search Console. Experience with (or willingness to learn) tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs. Ability to clearly explain SEO to non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable setting up and managing URLs, metadata, and SEO-related structural elements. Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, collaborative personality. Curiosity and willingness to understand Framer, even if not designing directly in it. Nice to HaveExperience with content strategy or conversion rate optimization (CRO).Background in fast-paced, flexible, or async teams.Schedule: Monday to Friday, Central Time Zone.
