The studio is operated entirely on proprietary capital and mandates uncompromising craft, accountability, and pace. We are now inviting freelance graphic designers to affiliate with the studio and contribute to brand identity and product-adjacent initiatives for premier clients.[직무 소개]1) Tracks and Target ProfilesDesignVisual Communication DesignIndustrial/Product DesignCommercial IllustrationFabrication & Sculptural MakingSculpture, craft, installation, and fabrication-driven 3D makingExhibition pieces, brand objets, retail fixtures, and prototypingMaterials exploration in wood, metal, composites, resin, etc.Engineering & DynamicsFEA design (static/modal/thermal)Kinematics and durability/fatigue designMulti-facet structural design using CAD; Rhino (+Grasshopper), SolidWorks, Creo, MATLAB, ANSYS, CATIA, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, etc.(Common requirements)Product-centric capability to generate commercial design IP.Portfolio with fabrication/production feasibility demonstrated through real artifacts or equivalently validated work.Proficiency in one or more of: Adobe CC, Figma, 3D/CAD, Rhino3D, and computational/parametric modeling.Working knowledge of Pantone/CMYK/RGB, color fundamentals, and cross-substrate print processes.(Studio philosophy)AMA Design embraces a small, elite team model in the spirit of Jony Ive and the partnership-led practice seen at Pentagram (partner leadership, accountable authorship and making, long-horizon client trust).We are expanding to accommodate high-complexity engagements and to build a transparent, portfolio-grade settlement system so freelancers can earn reliably from day one. (*May close early if track caps are reached.)3) QualificationsPreferred: Graduate students or degree holders (Master’s or above), and experienced freelancers.Eligible: Final-year undergraduates (must be able to graduate within two years; otherwise ineligible for later full-time conversion).Major: Not limited to design. Applicants with relevant study or practice in branding, product development, architecture, engineering, computer science, HCI, media, business, etc., are welcome.Nationality: Korean national(대한민국 국민) or otherwise legally eligible to work in the Republic of Korea.4) Engagement ModelProject-based operations. No mandatory hours during non-project periods; team-based staffing when scope requires multi-designer collaboration.Autonomous/hybrid work by default (e.g., two office days + three remote days is typical).Dedicated studio in Seongsu (1-minute from Seoul Forest Station) with a clear view over Seoul Forest; ideal for designers who prefer a consistent workplace.For select overseas clients (Japan/Singapore/North America), AMA covers all approved travel expenses for on-site meetings (airfare, lodging, per diem as applicable).Required paperwork: SOW (Scope of Work) per project, NDA/IP/settlement agreement.IP: Usage rights for deliverables vest in the client unless otherwise agreed. Portfolio disclosure requires prior written approval.All roles are freelance by default. (*Senior candidates may negotiate a base-salary arrangement and/or stock options.)5) CompensationFor major enterprise programs won/awarded, participating designers (by interest and fit) may convert to full-time.Upon conversion: annual base ≥ KRW 160,000,000 (pre-tax).
