For further information, please visit the following links: https://www.civiweb.com/FR/le-volontariat-international.aspx and http://careers.faurecia.com/job-offersPLEASE NOTE: as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.What will be your main missions?Our Forvia Interior Systems product group is looking for a VIE Serial Buyer for its manufacturing plant based in Pardubice, Czech Republic.Forvia Interiors Pardubice, Plant Pardubice In Czech Republic 600 employees, production of Door panels, Instrument panels, Central consolesMain activity: injection, foaming, lamination and assembling of interiors of the premium cars and customersMain customers: BMW, Toyota.Job SummaryDefinining of saving opportunities and implementing them in the serial lifeNegotiation with suppliers and organizing workshops with themEnsure fluent production by having right components in the right time and quantityYou will be working on challenges that matterYour MissionsMain responsibilitiesDefine and implement savings for the companyWork closely with internal teams and supplier´s teams to fulfill the purchasing key indicators (price index, P+L ratio, inventory targets; support quality and logistics targets with suppliers)Be involved in the supplier selection and kick off in program phase to prepare the start of ProductionMaintain serial vendor list updated and in line with Commodity strategy. Propose and contribute to downsizingData collection/preparation and active participation on budget and reporting process as well as audits (for example VDA/ISO audits, customer audits, ICB,…)The VIE Purchasing is responsible for improving the supplier performance in production (quality, cost, delivery) in line with purchasing strategy.Contribute to the identification and implementation of productivity actions (product / process) for cost reduction, in close coordination.Monitor productivity performance for supplier perimeter through cross-functional teamwork in the plants under his/her responsibility (i.e. productivity committees) and assist Purchasing Manager to present to the plants management board the productivity planFor most critical topics, support the Supply Chain team to improve supplier deviation in Misdeliveries Per Million (MPM)Be involved in the kickoff in program phase to prepare the start of Production.Lead negotiation for Engineering Change Requests within his/her perimeter, and product productivity, in close relationship with commoditiesThe mission will last 24 months.Your profile and competencies to succeedWhat you need to join us?English language is mandatory as you will be speaking with people from all over the world.Master’s degree/Engineering diploma in purchasing1 year purchasing experience.
